Not what I expected

Baseball is still underway at my house...It is now offically tournaments. My son, Demetri, hit his first home run in the District tournament Monday night. I had always knew he could do it, but when it happened, I still was in shock......It took a while to sink in. He and I both were crying. Demetri has been truly blessed to be great at all things he puts his mind to.

It doesn't matter if we don't win another ball game..it doesn't matter if he never hits another one, although I think he will, I will always know that my son came out and shined for a moment in time that will live in my memory forever.
