Words are Very Important

Words are so very important in a kids life. When Jim & I were first married, we decided together that there are some words in our household that are just not going to be used. Of course, not cuss words, but some other words that we felt are very disrespectful and unkind. I've been very conscious of this when the kids were little and I still try to be aware of it now. Motherhood is such an important role!
As my birthday approaches, (tomorrow) I guess I think back and I hope I've been good to my kids and especially watching how I say things to them. I hear how they speak to each other and other people. I'm really proud of them. They do listen to their Mom and Dad.
