WOW!

I was blown away this morning...I was taking Joseph, my seven year old, in to school to eat breakfast. Nothing out of the ordinary..just sat with him and discussed about how his day is going to be. He put his tray up and then we headed over to where he meets his class. We stopped by the supplies counter and I bought him some new erasers. There was a student there with one of the teachers behind her. Now, I've seen this teacher quite a few times around. My overall impression of her was she seemed kind of stressed. Of course, working with a bunch of kids seems to do that do you. I would always go out of my way to always be polite and smile. As I am paying for Joseph's erasers, she looks and me and says, You know you are a very beautiful lady. I was so taken back, I really didn't know what to say. I kind of sheepishly said, "That is so sweet. Thank you so much." Then I just smiled.

Although I take pride in myself, which came from a great mom and dad who instilled that in me, seems like sometimes I do all the hard work...you know, putting on the make up, fixing my hair, keeping my nails looking good, goes to no good. But, today, it made it all seem worth it. So, never underestimate who's watching you. And take pride in yourself!!
