So, we started our adventure to New York City by way of Ashville, NC. We found an authentic Greek Restaurant. So, of course, we went. The owner's name was Demetrius. Our Demetrius was so excited to finally meet someone with his name!! He was from Athens and what a great guy! He even gave us some free food. The boys LOVED the gyros and the atmosphere. The boys know a lot about my heritage. Now it was time for them to learn about their father's heritage. What a great memory!!
