The saga continues....

This morning, the little girl that Joseph told me was mean to him, sat down with us to eat. Joseph wasn't happy at all. He looked at me, then looked down and frowned. The little girl was very friendly, but Joseph didn't want anything to do with it. He told me, "Mom, I can't take it back." I guess he meant he couldn't take back that she was mean. I've been talking to Joseph about forgiveness. He said, "I'll probably forgive her when I'm a grown up." I then explained to him that you have to forgive now just as God forgives us now. He paused for a minute, then said, "Okay, I'll forgive her." A valuable life lesson for an eight year old....
