We planned a special day when the kids were out of school. We had fried chicken, and deviled eggs, and a quilt to eat on just like a real old fashioned picnic. We went exploring in the woods, and I had a great time talking and spending time with my kids.As my 14 year old started complaining about not having cell phone service, I then realized that we are living in a new era of technology. It was actually quite funny. We would be in the middle of the woods, and I would here, Man, I can't get service out here!
What a great family day!!

Sounds wonderful ! Can't remember the last time we had fried chicken but there is no better home cooked meal especially for a pick nick !!
