Wonders of motherhood

Why is it we rush around each morning taking our kids to school and can't hardly wait to get them out of the car, then within a few minutes you think, hey I miss my kids. Why is it we want our kids to go to friends homes to stay, but then we call a few times to make sure they are okay. And why is it when we are stressed to the max with our kids, but when one of those kids gets hurt or injured, the stress goes away and we do what we have to do to make it better?.......I guess it's the wonders of motherhood.
